Dragon's Teeth

Voyager stumbles into a network of subspace corridors controlled by the Turei, who demand that all data about the network be erased. Janeway refuses, and after an attack Voyager takes refuge on a radiation-scarred planet. There the crew find stasis pods holding the Vaadwaur, a people put to sleep 900 years earlier. Seven revives their leader, Gedrin, who explains that his people were attacked by rival species and went into stasis to wait out the danger. He offers Voyager an alliance and a path home, and the crew begin waking his people. Then Neelix and Seven uncover old records showing the Vaadwaur were themselves conquerors. The revived Vaadwaur plan to seize Voyager, but Gedrin warns Janeway. Voyager joins forces with the Turei, and Gedrin dies helping to expose the Vaadwaur ships. Voyager escapes, but dozens of Vaadwaur ships also get away.
