ABOUT US
Starship Nomadic is a free, friendly Star Trek fan group based in Northern Ireland. We're non-profit and unofficial: just fans who love the show and enjoy sharing it.
Everyone is welcome aboard, whether you grew up with Kirk and Spock or started with Strange New Worlds last week. We try to live up to the best of Star Trek: curiosity, kindness and a belief that our differences make us stronger.

Watch parties
We gather online at 8:30pm to watch an episode together, then chat about it afterwards.
Writing & guides
Articles, retrospectives and spoiler-friendly episode guides for every series and film.
Games & fan projects
Card games, puzzles, videos and whatever the crew dreams up next.
Good causes
We support charities through our merchandise and donated items.
Gene Roddenberry imagined a future where differences aren't feared but valued. That's the crew we want to be: welcoming, respectful and open to every kind of fan.
Earn your rank. Members earn Starfleet-style ranks by taking part constructively: joining watch parties, sharing ideas and helping others.

- 2254Launched from the San Francisco Fleet Yards as one of Starfleet's Constitution-class heavy cruisers: built for exploration, defence and diplomacy far from home.
- 2256During the Klingon War she serves behind the lines, evacuating border colonies and ferrying medical teams. She never stays at any starbase for long, and her crew start calling her "the Nomad".
- 2258After the war, Starfleet makes the nickname official. The USS Nomadic is given a standing mission with no home port: roam the frontier, bringing supplies, news and help to colonies that rarely see a starship.
- 2259Today her crew comes from dozens of worlds. They share one lounge, The Causeway, named by a homesick engineer from County Antrim after the Giant's Causeway. Wherever the Nomadic roams, there's a little bit of Northern Ireland aboard.
