Is There in Beauty No Truth?

A week after losing their suit, Zero receives a telepathic call from Ion, a fellow Medusan, offering a new body. The crew detour to Ovidia IV, where non-corporeal beings take on organic forms thanks to the planet's unique conditions. Zero undergoes the transformation and, for the first time, tastes, touches and feels, joining the colony's Feast of Senses with their friends. Dal and Gwyn, however, learn something Ion did not mention: the new bodies break down if they leave the planet, which is why nobody ever does. They brave the Running of the Nazamon, a terrifying ritual in which a huge winged creature hunts the runners, to warn Zero. Given the choice, Zero leaves with the crew, accepting that their body may deteriorate. On Voyager-A, Maj'el notices oddities in the holographic doubles during a game of Parrises Squares, Janeway uncovers the deception, and she finds eight minutes of missing logs and signs that something attacked hologram Gwyn.
