A Moral Star, Part 2

On Tars Lamora, Dal and Zero rally the miners, using their ankle restraints as makeshift communicators, while Rok-Tahk taps the proto-core to restart the Rev-12's engines. The miners rise up and, led by a young Caitian, overpower Drednok. Aboard the Protostar, the Diviner reveals his motive: his homeworld, Solum, was torn apart by civil war after first contact with the Federation, and the Protostar has been turned into a weapon to destroy Starfleet. Gwyn is torn between her father and her new friends. To stop him, Zero reveals their true Medusan form, which leaves the Diviner incapacitated. Gwyn glimpses it in a reflection, collapses, and later wakes with no memory of the weapon. The miners leave in the Rev-12, the Diviner is left behind on Tars Lamora, and the crew set course for the Federation. Far away, Admiral Janeway aboard the USS Dauntless detects the Protostar and sets off after it.
