Nepenthe

A flashback reveals that Commodore Oh forced a mind meld on Jurati, showing her a vision of catastrophe if synthetics like Soji are allowed to flourish. Jurati agreed to help and swallowed a tracker, which Narek is using to follow La Sirena. On the Artifact, Narissa kills Hugh, who first gives Elnor a device to summon Seven's Fenris Rangers. On Nepenthe, Picard and Soji are taken in by Will Riker, Deanna Troi and their daughter Kestra. The couple are still grieving their son Thad, who died of an illness that could only have been cured with positronic technology outlawed by the synth ban. Troi helps Soji face Narek's betrayal. Wracked with guilt, Jurati injects herself with a substance that puts her into a coma, cutting off the tracker. With Kestra's help, Soji works out where her home world is, and she and Picard leave together on La Sirena.
