A Night in Sickbay

A visit to the Kreetassans to obtain plasma injectors goes wrong when the landing party somehow offends their hosts and is sent away empty-handed. Worse, Porthos has picked up an unknown pathogen and is quarantined in sickbay. Archer, irritable and frustrated, refuses to leave his dog's side and spends the night with Phlox, getting a close look at the doctor's unusual habits as he tends his menagerie. Through the long night Archer remembers how Porthos came into his life, and is forced to face the tension, and attraction, between himself and T'Pol. T'Pol discovers that the Kreetassans were offended because Porthos urinated on a sacred tree. When Porthos's condition worsens, Phlox saves him with a transplant from an alien chameleon. Archer then returns to the planet to perform an elaborate Kreetassan apology ritual, and wins the injectors he needs.
