Labyrinths

Aboard the Breen dreadnought, Moll persuades Ruhn that the Progenitors' technology could bring L'ak back, and that she can help him get it. Discovery crosses the Badlands to the Eternal Gallery and Archive, where the Efrosian archivist Hy'Rell lets the crew in and Book finds a relic of Kwejian, his lost homeworld. Burnham finds a manuscript left by Betazoid scientist Marina Derex, and touching it plunges her into a mindscape. Guided by a version of Book drawn from her subconscious, she must face her own fears and doubts to prove she can be trusted. As the Breen try to break into the Archive, Book and Rayner hold off boarding parties. Burnham passes the test and recovers the final clue, then trades the completed map to Ruhn in return for a sacred oath to spare the Archive. Ruhn breaks his word, and Discovery escapes only by faking its own destruction. On the dreadnought, Moll kills Ruhn and takes command.
