Erigah

Moll and L'ak are taken aboard Discovery, with L'ak still gravely wounded. Soon a Breen dreadnought commanded by Primarch Ruhn arrives at Federation headquarters to claim them under an erigah, a blood bounty, and threatens war. Burnham learns that L'ak is the Scion, heir to the Breen throne and key to Ruhn's own ambitions. With T'Rina leading the talks, Burnham and Rayner, whose homeworld suffered under a rival Primarch, try to outmanoeuvre Ruhn. In sickbay, L'ak overdoses on a stimulant so that Moll can break free, but the plan goes badly wrong. Book persuades the fleeing Moll to surrender, and L'ak dies with her at his side. Revealing that she and L'ak were married, Moll offers Ruhn the Progenitors' technology instead, and to avoid war the Federation lets her go with the Breen. Meanwhile, the crew traces the next clue to the Eternal Gallery and Archive, hidden in the Badlands.
