Mirrors

The trail leads to a strange wormhole, and Burnham and Book take a shuttle into a pocket of space inside it while Rayner commands Discovery. There they find the wreck of Moll and L'ak's ship and, nearby, the ISS Enterprise, hidden there by Dr Cho, a Terran from the Mirror Universe who left one of the clues. Flashbacks show how Moll and L'ak met: L'ak, a Breen royal and nephew of the Primarch, fell for Moll and turned on his own people to save her, putting a blood bounty on them both. Aboard the Enterprise, Burnham and Book confront the couriers, and L'ak is badly wounded in a fight with Burnham. Moll refuses help and escapes with him. Burnham recovers the next clue, a sample of liquid, and while the pocket's entrance closes, Discovery's crew blasts it open with photon torpedoes so that Burnham and Book can fly the Enterprise's saucer out.
