Control's fleet attacks, and Discovery and the Enterprise hold the line while Burnham readies the suit. Klingon and Kelpien ships arrive to help. On the Enterprise, an unexploded torpedo lodges in the hull, and Admiral Cornwell gives her life to seal it off. Aboard Discovery, Georgiou fights Leland, whose body Control has taken over, and kills him, shutting Control down. With the danger past for now, Discovery still cannot risk keeping the data in its own time. Burnham opens a wormhole and travels through time, placing the red signals that guided the crew all season, before leading Discovery into the future. When the seventh signal appears, Spock and Pike know the ship arrived safely. On Earth, Spock, Pike, Number One and Tyler agree to keep Discovery's fate secret, and Spock recommends that its crew never be spoken of again. Tyler takes charge of Section 31, and Spock, clean-shaven, returns to the Enterprise.
