Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
Burnham defies orders and brings Spock to Talos IV, the forbidden world Pike visited years before. Vina, the woman Pike left behind there, greets them, and the Talosians agree to heal Spock's mind for a price: Burnham must let them see her most painful memory. As children on Vulcan, fearing that logic extremists would harm the family because of her, she drove Spock away with cruel words. Healed, Spock shares his vision of the Red Angel and of a future in which all sentient life is destroyed, but he remains coldly angry with his sister. The Talosians reach Pike through Vina, and Discovery comes for the pair. Aboard, Culber struggles to feel at home in his rebuilt body and lashes out at Tyler, the man who killed him. When the spore drive is sabotaged, suspicion falls on Tyler, but the audience sees Airiam secretly at work. Pike defies Section 31 and refuses to give Spock up.
