Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
Kira leads Damar's rebels in sabotage missions, but tension grows with Rusot, who resents taking orders from a Bajoran. Damar learns that the Dominion has executed his wife and son. Odo's illness is getting worse. Kira proposes stealing a Jem'Hadar ship fitted with the Breen weapon, and a small team infiltrates a Cardassian base to take it. When Odo can no longer hold his shape, Rusot turns on Kira and demands they abandon the mission. Damar shoots Rusot, chooses Kira's side and commits to building a better Cardassia, and the team escapes with the ship. Meanwhile, Gowron's reckless orders are wasting Klingon lives, and Sisko leaves Worf to act. Worf challenges Gowron to combat and kills him, then refuses the leadership himself and hands it to Martok. Bashir and O'Brien, meanwhile, plan to make Section 31 give up a cure for Odo.
- 01Worf first fought Gowron in “Apocalypse Rising”, but that duel was interrupted.
- 02Kitty Swink, who plays Luaran, is married to Armin Shimerman, who plays Quark.
- 03The third on-screen change of Klingon chancellor, after Azetbur succeeded Gorkon in Star Trek VI and Gowron succeeded K'mpec in TNG's “Reunion”.
