Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
Sisko's fleet engages the Dominion and Cardassian forces guarding Deep Space Nine, with only hours left before the minefield is brought down. Dukat leaves a deliberate gap in his line to draw the Federation into a trap. On the station, Damar arrests Kira, Jake and Leeta, until Quark and Ziyal free them. Kira and Rom disable the station's weapons, moments too late to save the minefield, and Odo arrives with his security officers to rescue them. As the Federation line buckles, the Klingon fleet arrives and opens a path for the Defiant, which enters the wormhole alone to face a huge Dominion armada. Sisko pleads with the Prophets, who make the enemy ships vanish but warn that there will be a price. With the Federation and Klingon fleets closing in, the Dominion pulls out. Ziyal admits she helped the prisoners, and Damar shoots her dead. Dukat, broken by grief, is left behind as Sisko reclaims his station.
- 01The space battle was created entirely with computer-generated imagery, the first time a Star Trek battle was done without any models.
- 02It concludes a six-episode story arc that opened the sixth season.
- 03Melanie Smith makes her final appearance as Ziyal.
