Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
Q arrives on Voyager to introduce Janeway to his son, the teenager conceived during the events of “The Q and the Grey”. The boy's pranks cause chaos aboard ship and beyond, and the Q Continuum threatens to turn him into an amoeba unless he learns to behave. Q leaves him in Janeway's care and strips him of his powers. Under her guidance, and through a friendship with Icheb, the young Q slowly begins to improve. When his father seems indifferent, he steals the Delta Flyer, and Icheb is badly hurt in an encounter with a hostile alien ship. Desperate, he tries to make things right, only for Q to reveal that the whole crisis was a test he had staged. The Continuum still rules that the boy must live as a human, until Q threatens to leave the Continuum himself. His son's powers are restored, Q keeps custody, and he rewards Janeway with a shortcut home.
