Seven upgrades her alcove to absorb the ship's records directly, and starts spotting patterns in Voyager's history that point to a hidden agenda.
Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
Seven modifies her alcove so she can absorb Voyager's databases while she regenerates. Meanwhile the crew help an alien, Tash, repair a catapult that can fling ships across vast distances, offering a shortcut home. After taking in huge amounts of data, Seven begins connecting events. She convinces Chakotay that Janeway secretly planned to strand Voyager in the Delta Quadrant to build a Federation foothold. After another regeneration she spins a different theory from the same facts and tells Janeway that Chakotay is plotting a Maquis takeover. When the captain and first officer compare notes, they realise Seven is unwell. The Doctor confirms she has overloaded herself with information. Seven then decides the real conspiracy was to capture her, and she flees in the Delta Flyer. Janeway follows and talks her round. Seven is treated, and the catapult cuts three years from Voyager's journey.
