Captured yet again, the con man Harry Mudd tries every trick he knows to talk his way out of the hands of a vengeful Tellarite bounty hunter.
Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
Harry Mudd has been sold by a bounty hunter to Tevrin Krit, a Tellarite with a personal grudge: Mudd once seduced his sister and stole a family heirloom. As Krit heads off to claim the Federation's reward, Mudd works through his whole repertoire, from offers of partnership and flat denials to tearful confessions and pleas for mercy. Flashbacks show him trying the same lines on other captors. Krit is unmoved and hands his prisoner over to the USS De Milo. There a Starfleet officer reveals the truth: this Mudd is an android, and the ship already holds several identical copies brought in by other bounty hunters. The real Mudd, meanwhile, is posing as a bounty hunter himself, selling his android doubles and cashing in on the price on his own head.
