Ascension, Part I

Reunited with Voyager, the crew faces an uncertain future. The Doctor tells Zero that nothing can be done for their failing body, but suggests fitting their new containment suit with sensory inputs so they can still feel, a task Zero asks Jankom to take on. Admiral Jellico orders both ships back to Earth, where Voyager's crew will be reassigned, the cadets reassessed and the Protostar handed over to the Department of Temporal Investigations. Then Ilthuran contacts Gwyn with alarming news: Asencia has seized control of Solum and is armed with mysterious new temporal weapons. She sends her warship, the Rev-1, to destroy Voyager and the Protostar. While the others return to their own ship, Dal flies into battle with Nova Squadron and Zero stays behind to help the Doctor. The first strike against the enemy vessel fails, leaving Voyager defenceless.
