Fissure Quest

William Boimler, Brad's transporter duplicate, now commands the Anaximander for a secret organisation, hunting whoever is creating the fissures. His crew are castaways from other realities: a T'Pol who was married to Trip Tucker for decades, a Curzon Dax who never passed on his symbiont, a Garak who became a surgeon, and Garak's husband, an Emergency Medical Hologram based on Julian Bashir. After rescuing a Harry Kim, they track a mysterious ship and find the USS Beagle, captained by an alternate Lily Sloane. Her crew are peaceful explorers, unaware that their quantum reality drive is tearing open the rifts. The two crews make common cause, but the rescued Kim, desperate for promotion, steals the Beagle, which is destroyed near a rift and unleashes waves threatening every reality. William directs the destruction into the prime universe, trusting his counterpart to deal with it. On the Cerritos, Brad receives William's warning, and panics.
