Something Borrowed, Something Green

Tendi is pressured into attending her sister D'Erika's wedding on Orion, and Mariner and T'Lyn come along. Soon after they arrive, D'Erika vanishes, apparently kidnapped, and the three officers chase clues through Orion's criminal underworld, from a nightclub run by Madame G to a pheromone den. Along the way Tendi's friends learn the secret of her past: she was raised to be the Tip of the Moonlit Blade, her family's trained assassin for the Orion Syndicate, before she rebelled and joined Starfleet. They track D'Erika to a ship graveyard, where it emerges she staged the whole thing to bring her sister home. The sisters fight, talk honestly and reconcile, then hotwire an old Starfleet ship to make the wedding on time. On the Cerritos, Boimler and Rutherford settle a feud over a bonsai tree by playing Mark Twain on the holodeck, a method that backfires badly when Freeman tries it on Captain Coqqor.
