An Embarrassment of Dooplers

The Cerritos carries a Doopler emissary to Starbase 25 for a Starfleet conference. Dooplers duplicate whenever they feel embarrassed, and when Captain Freeman accidentally embarrasses him, copies start filling the ship. The crew discovers that anger reverses the effect, so Freeman, T'Ana and Billups shout the duplicates back into one. Mariner and Boimler, meanwhile, are desperate to get into the legendary after-party, open only to crews of Luna-class ships and above. Boimler gets in by posing as his duplicate from the Titan, but Mariner is turned away, and the two fall out over his time on the Titan. He leaves the party to join her at a dive bar, where they learn that Kirk and Spock were once refused entry too. The senior officers, also snubbed, end up there as well. Tendi and Rutherford struggle to finish a model ship they started before his memory loss, until Tendi admits leaving it unfinished was always an excuse to spend time together.
