We'll Always Have Tom Paris

Dr T'Ana sends Tendi to collect a family heirloom from storage on Qualor II, and Mariner insists on coming. The heirloom turns out to be a Caitian libido post, and when Mariner breaks it the pair end up in an Orion pirate enclave, losing at dom-jot to Nausicaans, where Tendi's past as the “Mistress of the Winter Constellations” comes to light. They escape with half the post, but T'Ana only wanted the box. Meanwhile Rutherford is baffled to find Lt Shaxs, who died saving him, back at his post. When Shaxs finally explains his return, the answer is so disturbing that Rutherford wishes he had never asked. Locked out of doors and replicators by a security glitch, Boimler crawls through the Jefferies tubes to reach visiting hero Tom Paris, urged on by a plate that seems to talk. He drops onto the bridge, where Paris mistakes him for a Kazon and blacks his eye, then apologises and signs the plate.
