Archer, T'Pol and T'Pau carry the Kir'Shara across the Forge towards the Vulcan capital, hoping Surak's original words will expose V'Las. T'Pol is captured on the way. Meanwhile Tucker takes Enterprise into Andorian space with Soval to warn Commander Shran of the coming Vulcan attack. Shran doubts Soval and has him tortured, but the ambassador sticks to the truth, and only when Enterprise confronts Shran's ship does he release Soval and accept the warning. As the Vulcan and Andorian fleets face each other, Tucker places Enterprise between them. Archer and T'Pau reach the High Command and reveal the Kir'Shara, along with evidence that V'Las was behind the embassy bombing. Minister Kuvak stuns V'Las and halts the attack, and the High Command is dissolved. T'Pol's marriage to Koss is annulled. In a final twist, V'Las meets secretly with Talok, who is revealed as a Romulan agent.
