E²

Heading for a subspace corridor that Degra has pointed them to, Enterprise meets an ageing starship that is Enterprise itself. In another history, the corridor threw the ship more than a century into the past, and its crew chose to live out their lives aboard rather than disturb the timeline. Its captain is Lorian, son of T'Pol and Tucker, and the crew includes Archer's descendants and an elderly T'Pol. Lorian proposes engine modifications to avoid the same fate, but the older T'Pol privately warns Archer they are too risky. When Archer refuses, Lorian tries to take the parts by force and shoots Tucker during the theft. Archer disables the other ship, then frees Lorian to work with him. Both ships fight their way through the Kovaalan vessels guarding the nebula. Enterprise reaches the corridor safely, but the other ship never follows, and its fate is unknown. Degra is surprised to see them early.
