Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
Enterprise finds a pre-industrial world inhabited by the Akaali, and sensors pick up advanced technology that should not be there. Over T'Pol's objections, Archer leads Tucker, Hoshi and T'Pol to the surface in disguise. They find many locals falling ill, and an antiques shop shielded by a force field. Archer wins the trust of an apothecary, Riann, by presenting himself as an investigator. The shop's owner, Garos, turns out to be a Malurian. He claims to be surveying the planet, but Phlox traces the sickness to poisoned water near the shop. Investigating further, the away team discovers that the Malurians are secretly mining a valuable isotope underground, contaminating the water. When a Malurian warship attacks, T'Pol beams the mining reactor into its path and Enterprise's torpedoes detonate it. Archer gives Riann an antidote and promises that the Vulcans will keep watch over her world.
