All Good Things...

Picard's mind begins shifting between three times: the present; seven years earlier, just before the Enterprise's first mission to Farpoint; and some twenty-five years in the future, where an elderly Picard lives at his family vineyard. In each period a strange spatial anomaly has appeared near the Neutral Zone. Q reveals that the trial of humanity from their first meeting never ended, and that Picard will be the one to destroy the human race. In the future, Picard persuades his former wife Beverly to take him to investigate aboard her medical ship, the Pasteur. Picard learns the anomaly is growing larger the further back in time it goes, and that his own actions in all three eras created it. He leads three Enterprises into the rift to seal it, as the future ship is destroyed. Q tells Picard he has passed, by thinking beyond time. Back in the present, Picard joins his officers' poker game for the first time.
