Reed traces the change in history to 1916, when a time traveller murdered Lenin. Without the Russian Revolution, Hitler was free to turn west, and his forces eventually reached America. Vosk offers Archer an alliance and releases Tucker and Mayweather, but Phlox discovers that “Tucker” is really Silik in disguise. With little choice, Archer and Silik join forces. With Enterprise working to bring down the aliens' shields and the resistance distracting the Germans, the pair infiltrate Vosk's compound and Archer finds the real Tucker. Silik is killed in the fighting. Enterprise descends over New York and destroys the facility and the conduit, and Vosk dies. Daniels shows Archer that history is being restored, and the Temporal Cold War is over. Enterprise finds itself back in the 22nd century, orbiting Earth, welcomed home by a fleet of ships.
