Red alert: the full plot, ending included. Haven't watched yet?REVEAL SYNOPSIS
A Klingon task force led by General Martok arrives at the station, claiming it has come to help defend the Alpha Quadrant against the Dominion. Klingon warriors soon cause trouble, attacking Garak and detaining ships. Sisko asks Worf, the only Klingon in Starfleet, to find out their real purpose. Worf learns they intend to invade Cardassia, convinced that a recent coup there was the Dominion's doing. Sisko lets Garak warn his people, and when the Federation condemns the invasion, the Klingon Empire withdraws from the Khitomer Accords. Gowron invites Worf to join the war, and his refusal costs his family their standing. The Defiant rescues Cardassia's ruling Detapa Council and brings it to the station, which Gowron then attacks with his fleet. The station's newly upgraded weapons and fierce hand-to-hand fighting hold the Klingons off until Starfleet reinforcements approach. Gowron withdraws but keeps the Cardassian worlds he has taken, and Worf accepts a post as the station's strategic operations officer.
